Primary Care
Primary Care at Trust The Process Counselling is an intensive treatment programme for alcoholism and addiction.
Medically supervised detoxification from physically addictive drugs and alcohol is available to help you stop, overseen by our doctors and our treatment team.
You will learn about addiction through intensive group work and you will be provided with a set of very clear directions to develop your recovery and help you stop drinking / using drugs for good. Complementary therapies, creative activities, fellowship meetings, community meetings and social activities make for a full and rewarding programme, with life-changing outcomes in our clients. You will practise the principles of the 12 step recovery programme in a real world setting, living in our comfortable housing in Luton or Warrington situated in the heart of the local community.

Secondary Care
An individual care plan providing very focused support with life goals:
- physical health goals
- mental health goals
- social goals
- financial goals
- recovery programme goals
- personal / family relationship goals
- life skills goals
- education goals
- career goals
Secondary Care is a totally bespoke programme, with an individual care plan. Measurable goals are set by you in key life areas, such as your education, your career, your physical and mental health, your family relationships, your finances, your life skills and housing and your recovery programme. Half of the treatment week (approximately 14 hours) is very structured group work, where clients work with direction and guidance from counseling staff and support services. The rest of the week is dedicated to goal implementation. Secondary Care clients can also participate in all of the timetabled activities for Primary Care clients, as part of their programme.
You will be supported throughout in overcoming obstacles and achieving all your goals by professional counselling staff. Whilst in Secondary Care, you will live in our comfortable accommodation in Luton or Warrington, near to the treatment centre.

Third Stage
Third Stage is open to all clients who complete our Primary and Secondary Care programme. We provide you with long term housing in Luton or Warrington, if you need to stay on with us after treatment in order to readjust to your new life in recovery. You will be welcome to stay as long as you need us, providing your alcohol and drug free status is maintained. Third Stage housing can be funded through housing benefit with a small weekly top up fee for household bills.
Volunteering and employment opportunities with Trust The Process Counselling are available to clients who are interested in working in the field. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from people in recovery from alcoholism and addiction.

Aftercare
All clients can access free twice-weekly Aftercare sessions for up to a year after graduating from Primary / Secondary Care.
